How It works
Within the hospitality industry, I work closely with the brand’s creative team adhering to their specific requirements while consistently producing visually pleasing and eye-catching images featuring the unique spaces and stunning offerings of the property.
I photograph a diverse range of styles for various brands, but I work with people. More than quality, my work is about trust. It lies on the mutual understanding and confidentiality, which is of the utmost importance to me and my clients. My clients entrust me to provide them with the images they are looking for. When on location, every project brings its own unforseen challenges and time is of essence.
Before the photoshoot
First interaction
Would love to hear about your exciting project, over a coffee or over the phone. Based on the brief, we will provide you with the best quote and schedule a suitable date for the shoot.
Reccce visit
Every brand has its own requirements in terms of set up and preparations involved prior to the photoshoot. A full property scouting is recommended to define all areas that will be photographed, the best time of day and composition angles. After the walk around, our clients provide a shot list with detailed requirements for each area. Checklists ensure everything is set with deadlines for what and when to be done. The location recce is also a great time to discuss minor details and point out things for consideration.
The photoshoot
I recommend you to join us on the photoshoot day. It is your decision as to whether you would like to get involved as I always welcome client’s ideas and suggestions, or you prefer I am happy to work on my own approaching your brief in most genuine and creative way. My goal is to ensure stress-free working environment and time efficiency for you, and for my team.
after the photoshoot
Proof sheet
The time spent on the images after the photoshoot is as equally important as the actual photo-taking. I do the finishing touches myself, ensuring that the images are processed and prepared as per the individual brand requirements and of high quality. After initial photo-retouching which involves colour correction, light, contrast and perspective adjustments, a proof sheet with all images are sent to you for selection of the most preferred images. Once I receive your selection, the same will go through post-production and final delivery.
Post-production
Considering the photography guidelines for each brand, my goal is to preserve the natural appearance of the image. Bringing out the details and highlighting the features of the space is essential point I focus on.
While always keeping in mind the brand guidelines and authenticity, it’s important to acknowledge that high-end retouching sometimes does take time. It includes manual blending of multiple layers with different lighting and exposure, focus stacking, cloning and removal of unwanted and distracting objects, sharpening, color cast correction, to achieve a consistent look and feel.
Final delivery
Once post-retouching is completed, images are delivered to the client for review if any further adjustments are required. Once approved, final high-resolution JPG images are being delivered via online file transfer. Resized for web / social media and TIFF files can be also provided upon request. Once submitted, image cannot be replaced with other, however it can be provided at a charge.
